Relationships with Other Settings
The Activity Spaces module interacts with these other modules:
My Organization: Shares venue count information used in organization profile
Benchmark data input forms: Uses venues defined here for attendance and utilization metrics
Important Considerations
At least one performance space must be defined and active for Benchmark reporting
Space activation status affects whether venues appear as options in the select drop-downs on pages 1A, 2A and 2B
Performance vs. non-performance designation affects how spaces are categorized in analytics
Non-performance spaces do not require Utilization information (counts of performance days, maintenance days, etc)
Occupancy cost exclusion allows you to exclude spaces from cost metrics
Capacity information is critical for attendance percentage calculations
Different venue types may have specific reporting implications in analytics
Troubleshooting
Issue | Cause | Solution |
Unable to save a new space | Missing required fields | Check that all fields marked with asterisks are completed |
Address validation errors | Improperly formatted address | Use the address search function to find and select a validated address |
Occupancy costs seem incorrect | Space may not be properly configured | Verify that appropriate spaces have the "Exclude from occupancy cost metrics" toggle set correctly |
